📜 History
- Founded 1965 as Sports Haven International, a private hunting ground where members bought non-deeded lots to camp or build cabins.
- Renamed Skyline Mountain Resort in the late 1970s.
- Added over time: clubhouse, rental cabins, RV pads, pool with slide, tennis court, and power to every lot; a full-time water system serves the lower sections.
- Hunting was ended in the early 2000s (state law requires 1 mile between dwellings and gunfire).
- Golf course grew from 3 holes to 9, finished in 2005.
- Members got deeds to their lots in February 2015.
- Joe & Janis Hanks managed the resort for 38 years, until Joe passed in May 2017.

📋 Rules Owners Should Know
The resort's public pages mostly list golf rules:
- No dogs on the golf course. Tee times are required, and you check in at the pro shop or on the ForeUp app before playing, even with a season pass.
- To rent a resort golf cart you need a valid driver's license and a signed agreement. No children may drive them, there's a 2-person max, and carts can't be taken to cabins or RV sites.
- No hunting for golf balls in native areas or on private lots. Range balls require a refundable deposit.
- Proper golf attire is required (no tank tops or going shirtless).
The HOA's CC&Rs and owner rules are behind the "Members Only" login (EasyHOA) and aren't included here. [Family to add]
